Providing Compassionate Care
Hyde Park Cancer Center is committed to fight the battle against cancer. We work towards education, prevention, and the cure of this disease. Dr. William Assad had a vision to create a place where patients and families would find comfort and personal care during the course of their cancer treatments.
To employ the latest and the most advanced radiotherapy technology to treat and eliminate cancer. We believe that a comprehensive plan of care, positive attitude, and optimism in a personal clinical atmosphere are the three tools to succeed in this fight against cancer.
Since 2011, Hyde Park Cancer Center has been in affiliation with Hillsborough Community College as a clinical training site for Radiation Therapists. The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) has recognized Hyde Park Cancer Center for excellence in education.
Our board certified therapists instruct student therapists completing requirements necessary for the national licensing board exam in radiation therapy through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Our team is dedicated to patients and furthering advances within the cancer community. Many members of our team volunteer with cancer medical organizations, including the American Society of Radiologic Technologist (ASRT), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography and programs through Hillsborough Community College.
